A Note on Confidentiality: As a Registered Social Worker, I am bound by confidentiality, with the exception of my ethical obligation called "Duty to Report." This means if I have reason to believe a child is in need of protection, or if someone is at risk of harm to themselves or others, I am required by law to share information to ensure safety. I do not require a persons consent to share information when it comes to these protection and safety concerns.
Building safety is an essential part to the therapeutic process. Transparency and clarity are important components to this process. Therefore, it is important that you are aware of these ethical requirement if you share through this contact form.
