Masters of Social Work (MSW) | Registered Social Worker (RSW)

Life can change unexpectedly, and at times leave you unsure of how to make sense of what you’re going through. You may feel alone, confused, or overwhelmed and find yourself stuck in patterns of thinking that aren’t helpful.

I take a collaborative approach, supporting those I work with in making sense of their thoughts and experiences. Together, we work to better understand what you’re feeling and explore steps forward in a way that feels manageable and meaningful.

I aim to create a non-judgmental, comfortable space where you feel genuinely understood and empowered. Together, we can work at a pace that feels right for you, creating space for reflection, growth, and lasting change.

A bit about me professionally:

I am a Registered Social Worker with a Bachelor and Master of Social Work from York University. I have several years of experience in healthcare settings, supporting individuals as they navigate complex life challenges and transitions. I also have experience in addiction support, alongside a strong commitment to social justice.

I primarily use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), while also integrating mindfulness and strengths-based approaches within a trauma-informed, client-centered framework. I am interested in continuing to expand my knowledge in play therapy and therapeutic approaches that go beyond traditional talk therapy.

A bit about me outside of the therapy space:

I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially camping and hiking with my family.

I enjoy jogging and challenging myself to run further distances.

I enjoy starting my day with a good cup of coffee and a piece of chocolate!
